KITA Awards Win 2016

On September 15th 2016, members of Head Office returned to the glamorous and fun-filled yearly Kent Independent Trader’s Awards (KITA) event after being nominated for three awards: Retail Business of the Year, Growth Award and Medium Business of the Year. The KITA Awards set out to recognize and celebrate small and independent businesses in Kent and bring them all together for that one special night of celebrations.

After achieving Runner’s Up for the Growth Award and Finalists for the Retail Business of the Year Award in September 2015, Post and Packing were determined to return this year and to come home with a win after demonstrating even further success in the past year. The Federation of Small Businesses sponsored the event which was held at the Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone with over 150 people attending and with guest speaker Susannah Schofield delivering a very inspiring speech.

It was a very proud and humbling moment for Post and Packing when they were announced winners of the new category, Medium Business of the Year Award – an award which meant a lot to both the company directors and all of the employees involved at Post and Packing. This great achievement celebrates and rewards Post and Packing’s hard work and success over the last four years to ensure that the business operates to the best it can and to serve it’s customers to the best ability.
